Usually on “The X Factor,” the groups end up being just the category that is happy to be there. (For evidence, just look at what is happening with this category over on the American version show — two of the groups have left the show within three weeks.)
However, girl group Little Mix is seemingly desperate to show one thing — they are more than just your everyday group. We’ve seen them have fun on multiple occasions as well as show off a signature sense of style — during Saturday’s performance, they simply let the focus be on the vocals. After the performance, Gary Barlow said it was their best performance on the show yet.
It’s hard to really stress enough how difficult it is to harmonize with other singers in a short period of time — while the other solo singers all have a challenge, it’s clearly not the same.
