Not bad but doesn’t pass to English people (such as myself). This is what “creative decision” means. It’s not an insult to Tennant, On the contrary, it’s a compliment to Tennant’s ease with accents. I’m sure he knows this. Actors know each other’s work, what each is good at and how these decisions come about.
