Couldn't agree with you more! Most of us watching television these days have learned that it's nearly impossible to achieve the same level of quality drama two weeks in a row. One episode has all the stops pulled out, the writing, the directing, the acting, etc. Everyone steps it up a notch. The following week, more often then not, the viewer is let down. Because, let's face it, you can't keep up that level of excitement and quality of production in a Network series. Yet, although Pukana - Keepsake, was not the movie quality episode in the realm of the Pearl Harbor episode, it was certainly a quality experience in it's own, more down to earth way.

I enjoyed the story, well, both stories - the serial killer and the puzzle box. Such a difference in keepsakes! The killers penchant for collecting fingers (in the safe -eew!) and the puzzle box with the tsunami victim's picture in the locket. Creepy and poignant. The Danno/Grace time was greatly appreciated, I might add.

It was, indeed, a perfect way to wind up the first half of the season!
