‘Breaking Dawn’ fans camp out for premiere … five days early

It begins already.

You have to give fans of “The Twilight Saga” credit for one thing — being so ridiculously hardcore that they have transformed attending a world premiere event into a camping trip.

The grand premiere for “Breaking Dawn (Part One)” will not occur until Monday night, but there are already scores of fans camping out in front of the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles — while this is certainly not the first time we have seen this happen, this may be a record when it comes to both the number of campers and the length of time they are willing to wait. (The first real group started to form Thursday.)

Now, we just have to hope that nobody ends up mistaking this for some sort of Occupy Los Angeles protest…

For those not planning to camp out, “Breaking Dawn” officially hits theaters on November 18 — be prepared.
