The show is loosely based on Hamlet, if you haven’t been able to see the ties you should prolly re attend lit class. Anyways are you fricken serious, there are thousand of insights you can pull from this show, most of which have to do with family which is the most important thing on the earth.

Even the insights you’ve apparently read into breaking bad are none of the actual big ones, much of breaking bad has to do with pride, greed and being immortal. I’m fairly sure the show is based off Ozymandias by Shelley like the one episode alludes. Really you should read more literature and poetry, most of the great shows are based in some way off great pieces of literature.

I wonder if the death watch is all the keeps people watching. Are there no greater themes or insights from this show?

I enjoy the show but isn’t it just the Sopranos on motorcycles?

The only reason I don’t want Gemma to die is because it’s not a fitting enough punishment. She has caused so much destruction in her bid to be a ‘fierce mother.’ She claims to love her son, but her actions and choices have never been in his best interest. She needs to lose everything, everyone she claims to love, and live long enough to feel the weight of that loss, and the suffering she bestowed on others. Gotta be rooting for Jax and his sons to make it out and ‘break the cycle’ — but got a suspicion that Wendy will be the last one standing with the boys.

I just don’t want Jax & Chibbs to go (obviously not the kids either). The only way it could be acceptable to part with Jax and Chibbs is if it’s in the series finale when it wraps up the story.
