While it may be true that David Foster is no longer going to be serving as a producer for Charice (primarily for reasons relating to the fact that he is switching to Universal Music), that does not necessarily mean that the two are going to completely sever any sort of working relationship.
Speaking in a new interview, Foster (who has worked with several of the most influential acts of the past several decades) claims that the plan is still very much to have Charice take part in as many future “David Foster & Friends” shows that she wants to participate with:
“As for touring, I hope for many, many years we will always tour together [as long as] she has the time. She tours on her own,” he said, adding, “I love having her and she loves being with me and that’s not going to change.”
Charice has already performed in countless shows with Foster and other artists around the world, so the hope here obviously has to be that this will continue even after Charice contains to build her brand as an international pop star (which is not exactly the music that Foster produces, anyway).
Do you hope that these two parties find a way to continue touring together even after this year?
