ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: ‘The Lying Game’s’ Alexandra Chando to play ‘Miley Cyrus’ type

Take a look -So who would have the guts to play someone on “Castle” who, based on description alone, sounds like a hybrid of Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus? It’s someone who has managed to get a devoted following already courtesy of “The Lying Game” in Alexandra Chando, and also someone who has managed to avoid many of the pitfalls of other young stars.

TVLine confirms that Chando will be signing on for the 11th episode of the season, the first after the winter hiatus (as we predicted), in the role of a former young star who is now on the verge of a massive meltdown / image makeover that is doing things that would shock many of her initial fans. We don’t know if there will be any twerking or disturbing teddy bears involved, but it will at least be an interesting role.

Mostly, this looks to just be a fun part in that you’ll have an opportunity to play someone that is constantly on the verge of a major crisis, which means to us that Castle and Beckett are going to have their work cut out for them. The fact that a known TV star is playing the role also does suggest that this character is not just going to be dead in the first two minutes and have nothing else to do.

What we know about the episode for now is that Chando’s character will be dealing with some sort of a deranged stalker situation, which we see in the news more often than we would like. Somehow, the police will be involved from here. We’re personally hoping that at least one person on the team has some sort of secret obsession with her, mostly because that would create a fun situation a la what we saw during “Need to Know” earlier this year when Ryan admitted to be a crazy superfan of a cheesy old TV show.

Do you like this casting as much as we do, and do you believe that Chando should be able to handle a role that requires her to basically have a certain air and an ego? Sound off with your comments below! Take a look here and some other stuff that is coming up on “Castle” this season, and we’ll have more soon.
