‘Homeland’ season 3, episode 4 preview: Dana runs away; Carrie receives help in ‘Game On’

Homeland -On tonight’s “Homeland” season 3 episode, we were introduced to quite a shocking new reality for Nicholas Brody. “Tower of David” was both an ambiguous yet fitting title upon watching the hour, which was the strongest of the season by such a wide margin that it’s hard to even imagine that the first two hours came from the same show.

The title for next week’s installment is “Game On,” and when we say that this is a fitting name for the hour, we really mean it for so many reasons. The stakes are raised for Carrie in a place that Walter White Jr. would love, Jessica has a brand-new challenge in her own personal homeland, and we’re going to potentially dive deeper into what is next in Brody’s universe. Take a look at the synopsis below for some more teasers:

“Carrie meets a new client over breakfast and learns that the crippled CIA can still exercise power when needed. Meanwhile, Dana runs away and Jessica seeks the police’s help in finding her; and Saul follows the money trail to an unexpected location.”

Now that we start to feel as if the trajectory of the show is heading in the right direction, it’s easy to feel more excited about the story, and less concerned about the regurgitation that the show was inching towards. With Dana now on the run, for example, she is poised to potentially do some more exciting things. Meanwhile, we will hopefully only see a small sample of Jessica suffering, since the more intriguing stories now are taking place in the CIA as multiple battles wage simultaneously.

Overall, it’s fair to say that “Game On” is going to lead to there being quite a bit to be excited about.
