‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 15, episode 4 preview: Is Benson not the only one in trouble?

Law & Order: SVU logoEarlier this season on “Law & Order: SVU,” we had a situation that was clearly among the most dramatic out of anything that we have ever seen on the show over the years: Not only was Benson trapped, but she was tortured in a way that some of the women she rescues are. Literally, she was having to fight for her life.

So is this going to be the only member of the team in danger in the near future? Based on what we are hearing now, it certainly doesn’t seem like it. As you can see in the full synopsis for next week’s episode below, Cassidy is going to in some pretty big trouble as an undercover mission turns south:

“Officer Michael Groves (guest star Marc Menchaca) ends up in a psych ward after turning on his old squad — he accuses the 12th precinct of cooking the books and making rape allegations disappear. Internal Affairs Lt. Tucker (guest star Robert John Burke) enlists the help of the SVU to investigate, and plants Brian Cassidy (Winters) as an undercover. But one crooked cop (guest star David Conrad) goes to great lengths to keep things as they are, and the squad realizes too late that they put Cassidy in grave danger.”

You get a greater sense of the trouble that Cassidy is in courtesy of the promo below, which promises just as much drama and excitement as what we had during the two-hour premiere. We consider this to be especially great news when you consider that ultimately, tonight’s episode was somewhat “meh.”
