‘Supernatural’ season 9 spoilers: A Jensen Ackles-specific episode title
Ready for some more fun courtesy of “Supernatural” season 9? This show may take the cake for us when it comes to producing some of our favorite titles out there, and this new one definitely has to be put high on the list.
In a new post on Twitter, show co-executive producer Jim Michaels revealed that the sixth episode of the season is going to be “Dog Dean Afternoon.” If anyone out there loves “Dog Day Afternoon,” we’re sure that they will appreciate this. It’s also a much better and far less crude name than “Doggie Style,” which was originally the rumored title for the show. Tim Andrews is the director for the hour, and his other “Supernatural” credits include “Southern Comfort” and “Of Grave Importance.”
There is no real word yet about what this episode’s story could contain, but we are personally hoping for something where Dean morphs into a dog and gets to go on a “Call of the Wild” sort of adventure to see how this world looks from the eyes of one of these animals. What makes “Supernatural” so fun is that it really never feels as though anything is ever out of the realm of possibility, whether it be transformations, talking animals, werewolves, or a “Planet of the Apes” sort of situation where the pets start to decide that they are the masters. (We’d love to see that, personally.)
In case you’ve been out of the loop for some time, the show returns on Tuesday, October 8 with an episode entitled “I Think I’m Gonna Like It Here,” and the continues into “Devil May Care” the following week.

The title of the episode must be homophobic a$$. I was at the Jersey convention on the 8th row and I saw him diss that lesbian girl. I saw it with my own 2 eyes. I walked out of there after it was over and said never again. He’s said too many things over the years. Other fans may be cool with it, but I’m not.

I saw that clip. He didn’t look like he was dissing that girl for being a lesbian. He told the crowd not to spoil it for everyone. And that topic and question has been asked of him over and over and he’s already answered it. Maybe he just was human and got a little frustrated with having the same question shoved down his throat yet again. That girl wasn’t innocent. She deliberately tried to corner him. In this insanely PC world, just merely stating that your character is written as straight automatically means you’re a homophobe. The horrible way people like you have been trashing Jensen and his wife is FAR worse than any perceived slights your’e accusing him of. He has NEVER stated that he is against the LGBT community. That convention incident was blown so far out of proportion it’s just nuts.

there is SPOILER supposed to be a Doctor Dolittle style episode with Dean, so i’m guessing this is it. Dean’s already been a vampire, so it’s Sam’s turn to turn into something (other than a demon, natch)

Sam’s been souless, Sam has had Lucifer on his shoulder, Sam has had some kind of connection to the Angels via the Trials and next season it looks like there’ll be more of something up with Sam…so personally I think there’s been more than enough stuff going on with Sam and I would like to see more going on with Dean. Sadly the odd motw episode like above is all we get these days, ever since Kripke left along with any hope that Dean will be a major part of the mytharc again.

A while back (from comic con I think) there was a spoiler that Dean will somehow acquire the ability to talk to animals in one of the eps… from this title I’m betting this is that episode!
