Bennett sounds off on 9/11
While singer Tony Bennett was promoting his upcoming album ‘Duets II’, which features Lady Gaga and the late Amy Winehouse, he made some pretty controversial remarks about the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center buildings in New York City.
Bennett was speaking to Howard Stern on Monday on his Sirius radio program when Stern asked him how he deals with terrorists. Bennett replied by saying; “But who are the terrorists? Are we the terrorists or are they the terrorists? Two wrongs don’t make a right.”
Stern tried to point out that it was the 9/11 hijackers that flew the planes into the World Trade Center, Bennett said; “They flew the plane in, but we caused it. Because we were bombing them and they told us to stop.”
Bennett is a World War II veteran that served in Germany and after his time in the war, Tony became a pacifist. In 2005 Bennett claims that George W. Bush told him “personally” that he “made a mistake” with the war on Iraq.

As far as I am concerned I will never listen to or follow anything that Tony Bennett does.
America thinks it can take actions in the mideast that causes so much suffering and death (supporting the suppresion of Palestine, its pre-war actions in Iraq) without consequence. There ARE consequences and FINALLY someone addresses that and Americans are so stupid and the press is so controlled by the Israeli lobby that the truth is NEVER ADDRESSED! Corruption/the bad guys always win!
The evidence of controlled demolition, of planes making maneuvers impossible for amateur pilots to make, of unidentified aircraft firing missles at the towers before hitting them, of Bldg 7 coming down in a perfect demolition (when no plane hit it), of the steel being shipped offshore before it could be examined, of pools of molten metal deep underground at Ground Zero, of the hijackers all being from Saudi Arabia, of some of them being found ALIVE, of the NATO exercises, the delayed NORAD response, the 35min. wasted after the planes were identified off course…what part of INSIDE JOB DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND, MORONS!
Tony Bennett is as brave as he is talented, and I just hope he isn’t cruxified by the military-industrial neo nazis in this country, just for speaking truth to power.
