‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ preview: Melissa Gorga – ‘ex’ drama crashes the party
The start of the preview clip below from Sunday night’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey” episode is strange in itself. It’s Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga at a party, Kim D. is present of all people, and everyone is actually getting along! There is no drink-throwing or accusations that Teresa set up her sister-in-law to be humiliated on TV, and all of this has to be constituted as some steps in the right direction.
But then, you also know that if there was not some sort of problem arose (which is at the launch of Teresa’s new hair-care line), it would probably not be on the show. “Friend” Jan and Melissa square off for a minute over speculation that Jan has been telling people that Melissa has been seeing an ex, and you can almost feel the cauldron of chaos (a term we really should have copyrighted) starting to boil over.

“Suspicion is in the air when a scandalous article about Melissa’s marriage rocks New Jersey and Teresa’s hair product launch puts Melissa face to face with a gossip-mongering ex-friend. As Jacqueline celebrates her return from LA (and her new tummy), an encounter with Caroline leaves Kathy questioning her partnership with Rich.”
Based on Melissa and Joe Gorga still being together, it’s fair to say that none of these rumors really end up impacting her life too much; however, it’s obvious that whoever leaked this article is trying to damage her at the same time that she is working on a book about her personal life, and how strong her marriage really is.
