‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3: What is with Rachel Bilson’s new tattoos?

While Rachel Bilson is starting to prepare herself for the beginning of “Hart of Dixie” season 3 filming, there is a question that comes along with that: Is she trying to show off some new ink in the process? Well, we have it on good authority here that the answer to that question is a very clear “no.”

Instead, what Bilson is trying to do is pretty simple: Work on a new film using the art of temporary tattoos that happen to look very realistic. As you can see at the link here, the actress was spotted sporting some very colorful stars all over her neck … but it turns out that there was a very specific reason for it. The ink was actually there in order to effectively play a part in an upcoming film, which requires her to utilize a greater amount of tattoo application than usual. (By “usual,” we mean that most of her characters don’t have to wear tattoos at all.)

So what is going to come up for “Hart of Dixie” on season 3? Producers have done a very good job thus far at keeping most things under wraps, but you should expect to see more than just the same old Dr. Zoe Hart love triangle. She will struggle some with her feelings, but eventually, she and everyone else will move on and start to focus on other things. If there is one criticism you can make of the show, it is that romance is really the focus of every little thing, and we will see a more expanded world moving forward to the show’s October 7 premiere.
