NBC’s ‘The Voice’: Hear winner Danielle Bradbery perform on ‘The Today Show’

You really have to hand it to the folks over at Big Machine Records: They wasted almost no time at all when it comes to trying to launch a major career for the latest winner of “The Voice” in Danielle Bradbery. Within really just the span of a month, she went from winning the singing competition on NBC to turning up on “The Today Show” with “The Heart of Dixie,” her first-ever single. We imagine that Blake Shelton knew in advance that he had himself a diamond in the rough here, and they worked together on a plan for her career long before the end of the show.

What is probably the most impressive thing about this video is that despite being pretty early on the east coast (which means that it was a very early arrival for her), Danielle still managed to a give a performance that sounded very in tune with the actual studio version of the song.

Danielle has already reached the top of the iTunes charts with “The Heart of Dixie,” which is more proof that Blake’s fans really come out to support a part of his family. Cassadee Pope, who also placed first on the show, had a similar sort of luck with her single “Wasting All These Tears.”
