ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: What will the role of Charlotte be?

At this point in the “Revenge” filming process, there are a number of names and topics that we like to think of as fairly ambiguous. What’s one of them? Trying to figure out what in the world is going to happen to a certain Charlotte Grayson now. That whole trip to Paris is about to be over, and she is likely still trying to come to terms with the fact that Declan Porter is dead … and she probably still resents her family with every breath.

What’s the only thing that could make things even crazier for her? According to TV Guide, when the character returns after five months away in the premiere, she is going to be rather concerned about how close Victoria’s secret son Patrick (Justin Hartley) has gotten to his mother. Is it jealousy? We doubt it. It’s more that she feels like Patrick threatens what the family has worked rather hard to achieve, and she thus sets out to try to put some sort of kibosh on it.

As for why Charlotte is back in the Hamptons to begin with, she will be “evicted” from her family’s Paris abode for some reason, which always has to be embarrassing for someone who revels in upper-class snobbery. “Revenge” does need Charlotte, though, so we do have to say that we are rather thrilled to see her injected back into the family fold sooner rather than later. (We also need more people to keep the Graysons in check.)
