‘Big Brother 15’ live feed spoilers: McCrae gets warned; Julie Chen talks racism

Big BrotherWe’re going to begin this “Big Brother 15” article with the latest updates from the live feeds, but there is also an update in here from Julie Chen on all of the racism controversy that has gone on over the course of the past week and a half since we first had the opportunity to watch the live feeds.

The feeds – We would be lying if we said that this was an active afternoon. Most of the houseguests are just sitting around, really just buying their time. Why’s that? We figure that most of them by now already figure what is happening on Thursday (Elissa’s likely eviction), and there is not really much of a reason to go crazy on anything right now.

The common discussions are the ones that we have heard many times already, from the horrible “popular kids” bashing Candice for liking Elissa to members of the Moving Company warning McCrae yet again that Amanda is dangerous. This is an interesting issue for them given that they don’t want to scare their alliance partner away, but they are clearly planting a seed for later on down the road, when they may consider sending Amanda packing.

“The Talk” – On her talk show today, Julie discussed how she was offended by many of Aaryn’s anti-Asian remarks personally, and it was a cruel reminder that people still talked that way. She also said that while houseguests are asked about issues such as the offensive dialogue while in the Diary Room, they have no idea as to what is going on in public or what America thinks of their comments.

The only real problem that came out of this interview is that Julie is in a sense bound by the story of the show, and doesn’t want to talk about what isn’t on the show. Therefore, GinaMarie, Spencer, and Jeremy really got a pass here, as almost all of the discussion was focused instead on Aaryn and the montage of her shown off last night.

What do you think about Julie’s comments? In case you missed our take on the subject last week, you can check that you below; also, you can click here if you want to read even more updates related to the show.
