‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5 spoilers: Could we see the tables turned?

NCIS LAAfter seeing four seasons of roughly the same sort of thing on “NCIS: Los Angeles,” it’s only natural that there would be a certain amount of clamoring for something different, even for some of the actors who are actually a part of the show. With that in mind, we present to you some comments courtesy of a man who has played a big role away from the primary action of the show in Brett Foa.

Speaking as a part of a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Foa had the following to say in response to what he would love to see when season 5 of the series picks back up this fall:

“I would love to see Eric with a gun … I don’t think he would do well with it, but I think it would be funny to see it in his hands. I would also like to see the tech guys save the day maybe instead of the guys with the brawn. That would be fun: brains over brawn.”

Even if Eric doesn’t use a gun, it would still be fascinating to see the character actually use some of his skills to try and become more of an active hero, rather than just a character who facilitates most of the action. This is around the time that most shows do start to experiment a bit more, and we therefore expect some of that to happen and then some when this series returns on Tuesday, September 24 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time.

What do you think about Foa’s comments, and would you be excited to see some of the tech guys take a little bit more of an active role on the show? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below!
