‘Supernatural’ season 8, episode 11 preview: How do you like them badges?

Finally on “Supernatural,” it’s happened: someone has called Sam and Dean out on their fake badges. The part of this that is especially hilarious is that the person who ends up exposing the two of them for it is someone who you would hardly expect to be a master of identifying badges to begin with.

As the preview video below shows, the two fail to impress while trying to investigate some strange happenings while at the site of a LARPing event. Why not? Apparently, the man running the game has seen so many people playing dress-up over the years that he can detect an actual difference between real badges and fake ones. This also causes a little bit of trouble for Sam and Dean, as they quickly realize that they are not going to get the access to this world that they so desired without having to go a little bit undercover first.

Just the idea of seeing these two guys in medieval costumes is likely going to be entertaining, as they have developed a habit over the years of staying away from this sort of outfit (and who doesn’t?). Will they really be able to get to the bottom of what is really going on here? We know they’ll put forth their best effort, and if nothing else every teaser that we have seen for the hour thus far suggests that we are certainly in store for something extremely entertaining (even if it does have very little to do with the overall storyline).
