‘Ink Master’ season 2 finale review: Sarah, Steve and Sebastian face off, who won?
On the season finale of “Ink Master” season two they brought back the eliminated contestants and one of the first hot topics brought to the forefront was Jamie not having any tattoos. The judges tried to say that his lack of tattoos had nothing to do with why he got eliminated and Jamie gave Oliver the opportunity to put his first tattoo on him if Oliver shaved his head and facial hair off. Oliver responded by saying that he doesn’t deserve one of his tattoos.
Dave revealed that one of the eliminated contestants will be coming back into the competition (for season 3) based on votes from the viewers at home. Another cool feature they had on the finale was that some of the human canvases came back to confront their artists about some of the bad ink they got, which was a great lead in to talk to season 1 finalist and the star of “Tattoo Nightmares” Tommy Helm. Tommy offered to cover up one of the tattoos for one of the canvases that was unhappy with their finished product.
Steve Tefft, Sarah Miller and Sebastian Murphy are the finale three and when the eliminated contestants are asked if they thought these would be the finale three and no one raised their hands. For their elimination tattoo they were given 24 hours to do whatever they wanted. Steve and Sebastian did two big back pieces in black and grey where Sarah did two tattoos on the legs and she did hers in color. Oliver liked Steve’s tattoo but wasn’t crazy about it, and Chris felt the layers on his piece were great. Oliver liked a lot of the texture in Sebastian’s tattoo, but felt that the line work was a little weak even though he’s been strong in line work for most of the competition. For Sarah’s tattoos, Oliver really loved her designs and said that it fit the client’s legs perfectly, but that the color was a little weak for him and Chris felt that her tattoos needed more black saturation in them.
When it came to America’s vote on which eliminated contestant will return to “Ink Master” season 3, Tatu Baby was voted back in (which was pretty obvious if you happened to be on Twitter – she was trending all night). So who came out on top and was named the winner of “Ink Master” season 2? Steve Tefft beat out Sarah Miller and Sebastian Murphy for the title of Ink Master.

I agree about that too . If I were in that situation. I would have took into consideration . It almost seemed as if they chose the canvas to sure styles the sabasion decides to do Steve’s style.

Really, no one should have been suprised at Sebastain’s total disregard for his canvas. When discussing dealing with crazy clients (can’t remember the young artists’s name but it was the nasty woman that got the flaming heart with smoke which looked like tissue), Seb started saying clients like that to cause more pain by slowing down the speed. It may have been another method but he and Mark got into over that,
No one should have to out up with someone as nutty as that woman but many times have too but the no decent person should want to cause anyone pain. That attitude is more disrespective to the tattoo industry rather than if an artist has tattoos.

Surprised that no one mentioned that the chioce of Sebaistin tattoo on that girl was horendous . I could see Nunez was like wtf but didn’t say anything cause they said do what you want . But really that poor girl has that hidious tatto on her whole back . I feel he could have took some consideration that it was a woman he was tattooing . That really bothered me .

Sebastian should have been called on his lack of people skills, in giving his last human canvas a picture he thought would win it for him, with no consideration of what his canvas wanted. She told him she didnt want anything too manly. Steve and Sara both worked with their canvases, trying to come up with something they wanted to do AND something that their canvases would enjoy having.
I didnt think Sebastian deserved to be in the final–even so, he got ripped off being booted without his 24 hour tatt not even counting! so All his work, and everything this canvas went through was for nothing?
Also, dont announce the winner in the end of the last minute! my dvr didnt record it! and that leave no time to see the winner bask in the win.
also, while showing the 24 tatts–there were not any good views of any of them. I kept waiting for you to finally show nice clear images, but we could only see bits and pieces.
I liked sara and wanted here to win even though she couldnt hide her emotions and was at times scary. She was very talented.

I agree that the finale was a horrible disappointment. Was frustrated that the DVR didn’t catch the ending, and I didn’t want to hear about or from previous participants or their “human canvases.” I wanted to watch final tattoos being done and to see them. I can’t believe these were the 16 best artists they could find. Too many big disappointments. The show needs stronger artists and a better finale. And Oliver needs to lose that damn toothpick!

I hated Steve’s shirts and his attitude, but I think he did deserve to win.
I got so DAMN sick of Sarah. She mad me tired and nauseous.
Tatu Baby looked like hooker—and a cheap one at that–one of the $5 BJ class.
I liked Jesse’s work, but got real sick of all the cartoons and gooley eyes.
Jamie totally got eliminated because he didn’t have tattoos.
Sebastian was mediocre in every style, and I feel so bad for that woman that he did the 24 hr tattoo on. It’s just hideous and I think it was totally ignorant for him to give her something like that. He could have done a really nice looking tattoo that would be more feminine and more her personality. I just can’t get over how ignorant and selfish it was for him to do that to her! That mohawk of Clint’s was just ridiculous and was noticeably higher for the finale show, which made it even more so. Mark’s cherry red streak is too stupid. As were Lalo & Kay Kuta (where did he dig up that asinine name?) dreds.
I’m a 64 year old grandma who couldn’t be more conservative but I got toally hooked on this show!

BTW Sarah’s whining, Steve’s clothing, Jamie being Tatless, Tatu Baby’s barrio chica style dress, ETC. shouldn’t matter as far as skill. Jamie was a damn good artist definitely better than Sebastian. Personal feelings about the artist shouldn’t way in on a competition based on skill and technique. PERIOD.

Sebastian should have been eliminated before Jesse. Steve had SEVERAL technically flawed tattoos throughout the season and they’ve said report cards counted. I think Jesse, Sarah and Tatu Baby should have been final 3 with no viewer based elimination. A simple macro program could change the vote, I know, I did it on Big Brother’s america’s vote years ago. It clicked the button every 3 seconds for the 24hr voting period and “iMacros” for chrome and firefox make it simple.

I love the show and everything that goes on I love the drama and the suspence of the taped shows but in my opinion they shouldn’t do the live show anymore it was the only show out of the 2 seasons that Didn’t hold my attention and it wasn’t very interesting I wanted to see who won I’m glad it was Steve but I think I just watched the finale cause I think Dave is f***in HOT! But anyway I love the show I just think it would be better if they went back to the way they did it the first season if they wanted america’s opinion they could still vote a contestant back for the next season but if their vote was going to get rid of Sabatian then that woman should not had to get that huge ugly as s**t tat across her back for no reason but I love the show keep up the fantastic work!

Happy with the final results. Although I don’t think they should have had 3 finalists. Especially sabastian being on of them. Tatu baby was a million times better than hi him. To whoever said Jesse was more deserving than tatu baby coming back next season is crazy! Jesse sucked! His hillbilly bucked tooth, googally eyed tattoos were stupid! He did one decent tat and that was the one of the ninja warrior. When someone goes to get a tattoo they don’t want a self portrait of the tattoo artist. Seriously stupid ass work. Sara is decent, but a total nut job. People can love what they do, and be very intense about their work. But she was ridiculous! I think she is working on winning an academy award!

The producers did TatuBaby a favor. They obviously knew that one of the bottom 13 would be coming back next season. If Sebastian had been eliminated before the finale, What chance do you think he would’ve had for getting that season 3 opportunity ?
If TatuBaby had been in the top 3, Steve would likely still have won, but TatuBaby would have been not available for folks to vote into the season 3 slot. So, in the long term, TB will see more fame, more followers.

Good show. Like to see what they come up with and judges telling it how it is in their view. Somtimes think wrong person gets sent home. All season 2 artist lucky they weren’t on season 1.

Steve had it from the 1st! Afew others were good tatoo Artist but nothing compared to Steve or Season 1. Sabastian being in the fanale was a joke. I don’t understand why this too has to be as it’s put nowadays “Politically Correct”! I have 17 tatoos & he can perform better work than most of mine but to be judged up against Tatoo Baby, Clint, Jessie or Dave? Give me a break! This crap is just that, CRAP!

I can’t believe how bad everyone bashed Sarah. She did great in both color AND black and gray! She is young and passionate and a little crazy but I still loved waiting to see her tattoos (Steve’s and Jessie’s too even though Jessie was one dimenyional) I think Steve was more consistent. Sarah lost here confidence and messed up a couple or she would hàve won. Loved seeing Tatu Baby grow and will be rooting for her if she keeps it up next season.

First off the best artist won..The actual show stunk but thats probably due to TV and no one else’s fault…Jessie could only do one style and his flaws would have show as well..That being said either Jessie or Tatu Baby deserved to be in the final…Sarah was a psycho but her work was good as most..In the end, Steve deserved the win…

The screening process for the canveses needs to be better in respect that if one wants a certain tattoo that can’t be done in the time limits, they need to be told that rather than letting them end up with something that is not finished. Not fair to the artist or client. The lady Tattoo Baby did not finish was having a bad reaction and it should have been stopped in my opinion. Even with being checked out by EMS, she was too ill & safety rshould be the first thing. In cases like that, the artist should not be faulted since it is beyond their control.
And for God’s sake, anything written on a tattoo needs to be double-checked! I admit I am make typing mistakes, etc but when it ocmes to permanent ink it needs to be spelled correctly! Wonder how the bad tattoos have affected the artist’s business because I definitely would stay clear of some of them!

Like everyone else, I thought the final show stunk. What are they hiding, that we didn’t even see the tats? That’s weird. No film of them doing any of them either! I’m glad Steve one, but Tatu Baby should have been gone mid-season, she did some real crap. I think a certain MC was playing with something besides his guitar strings. And surprise..surprise she’s back again. Really lousy ending. Loose the toothpick, the favoritism, and get some better artists. Many of these screwed up some nice people’s skin. All I heard them say they’re fixing is one. Not me !!

My DVR cut it off as well…Grrr! I voted for Steve!!!! He is an amazing all around artist. I do believe the top 4 should have been Steve, Jesse, Jamie and Tatu Baby (but I like how they knew TB wouldn’t win and gave her another shot at next season) Kay Kutta made me want to punch my TV screen so I did the happy dance when that moron was booted. Sarah is psycho and should never have made the show. My 3 cents.

Steve,your skills are amazing,your colors,shading,linework show the reason you earned the title INK MASTER, also,your Sandy Hook ribbon wearing was pure class,to show everyone watching that you have that kind of heart,was very cool. I agree with a lot that has been said already. I was aching for Sarah to go home weeks ago. I don’t think she was a good artist and it was painful to not only listen to her, but look at her. Jesse produced some of the best tats, but he’s one dimensional. Not that Nunez has any room to talk, if you watched Miami Ink, how many times did you see him do something that wasn’t Japanese? Koi’s, dragons, symbols, that’s about all he does, so he has no room to talk to Jesse about his new school stuff. Tatu Baby looked like a 2-bit hooker all season, but she proved she could produce good tats. Sebastian was garbage. The show was Ink Master, not Ink Middle of the Road. With that said, how he was eliminated was garbage. If anything, he should have been voted off on the last recorded show based on what America wanted (double elimination that night, one by judges, one by America). Didn’t care for the open canvas, artist picks the design portion. If I was that poor woman Sebastian tattoo’d, I’d be getting that thing laser removed. The canvas should have some say in the design…they had 6 months and 24 hours to tattoo…the canvas should have been able to say “I don’t want…this.” In the end, the artist should have respected what the canvas did and did not want. They should have had so long to “interview” them and draw something based on their likes and dislikes. She gave him an idea and he basically gave her the middle finger and went dark and creepy. I have several tattoo’s and a lot of them religious…I wouldn’t want dark and creepy on my body at all.
I enjoy the show and other than Steve’s condescending tone and massive ego, I liked what he did. It was solid. None of his designs were cookie cutter tats and I don’t believe you can call yourself an artist if all you do is trace something and then tattoo it poorly after that. You also can’t judge a competition based on a popularity contest. You want something fun? Bring in 3 guest judges on the final episode, don’t let them look at the tats prior to the show and then let them judge.
The live show was horribly done. I DVR’d it and like the rest of the country, had to google the winner, but that wasn’t the worst part. Sound, camera angle and the inability to show the tattoo fully was horribly lacking. I thought the commercial breaks were horribly long. The first one was 7 minutes, next one 6, final one somewhere around 7 as well and there were still 2-3 other commercials in there…so for an hour live show, you lost it to 30+ minutes of commercials. You lost it with the lack of profiling the finalist.

I was so excited when I saw that Tatu Baby was coming back next season.. I was so happy for her. I love her work and I think she is just a talent and beautiful artist. I hope she wins next season because she not only deserves a second chance, but she deserves to be ink master.

Finale was very disappointing. DVRd it and after watching the worst episode of the season, it cut off right before the winner was announced. Had to Google the results.
Sebastian shouldn’t have been in the final three, but since he was, the way he was eliminated was all wrong. Season-long audience voting? What is that all about? What if he had done a bangin’ tat? Would he still have been eliminated? Bad flaw in the system that needs to be fixed before season 3 starts.
Sarah does great work but all her talk about being true to herself is really just talk. She sold out by trying to look like someone she’s not. She’s young, she’ll learn.
Didn’t get to watch the artists at their craft. That’s what this is about, I thought. Okay, not all 24 hours, but would have liked to see them tattoo more than a few seconds. And then not even a live shot of the finished products on the LIVE finale. Bad.
Lots of room for improvement before next season’s finale. Hope the producers take all the criticism to heart, go home and study, and come back for season 3 better prepared.
Finally, congrats to Steve Tefft. Great consistent work to a true artist.

As a huge fan of both seasons, I agree that the season 2 finale was HORRIBLE! As with all, DVR did not get full episode (tending to a sick pet so was not able to be able to watch live episode). Bad camera angles & more time spent on talking to ones being voted off. Not enough time on the actual final tattoos. Any tattoo artist that is going on a InkMasters should be able to do all styles. I can understand having a speciality but to be the best, there was some horrible artists. I do no not think Sebastian should have made it to the final three and he made a poor choice on the design for a woman’s back. Isn’t part of being a great artist is to take into consideration the type of subject you are working on? IWHat if someone inked a ballerina on him & had the same attitude about it? He wouls be PISSED! Not just Seb but others had the attitude what they needed to do to win instead of repsecting their subject’s wishes. It maybe a free tat and I can understand the time limits but I would walk out before letting someone ink something I did not want. That is what scares so many about tattoos.
Other than Steve’s snide remarks about women, I do think he deserved the win but it should be up to the judges instead of a popularity contest. Although Sarah did have these outbursts (and prob drummed it up for the cameras), she did take the judges’ critiques on what she needs to improve on and so did Tattoo Baby.
I hope the ones who got bad tattoos can go to Tommy (the one who should have won Season 1) or other Tattoo Nightmare artists and get a better one. All except the crazy psycho client with the smoking heart – no one should tolerate a whiny, mean old witch like her Not even K.

By the way, Tatu Baby should of been one of the three…not Sabastian. Well, at least she’ll get another chance next season. I hope Spike TV at least compensated all the artist who didn’t win with something. they did work hard and gave up some of their time giving FREE tattoos. I guess they got some publicity. They also need better judges next season.

Out of the final three, I’m glad Steve won. If I had it my way, the top three would be Jesse, Jamie, and Steve. And Tatu Baby would be a close 4th and would come back for season 3. Sarah did some great pieces but the way she behaved under pressure and CHANGED many canvas’ minds showed she was NOT ready to be titled “Ink Master”

Clearly it was Steve’s to lose. He was by far one of the best artist’s from the beginning. Does he get his own show too now? My fellow chola Tatu Baby was totally ROBBED. She is awesome artist and I look forward to seeing her in the next season. I hope all the world has seen the real Sarah – she talks everyone out of the tattoo that they origimally wanted and then does her own thing with weird background mumbo jumbo.

I Do like Steve’s work, however I didn’t like his cockyness and I think it showed the weak parts of his tattoos. However Sarah is good, I Don’t think she took her time to show the judges or America her best abilities….I do believe tatu baby got robbed, but glade she gets a second chance..I’d like to see the contents from season three compete in different cities all over the world….that way they can Really challenge there abilities

Wow, whoever directed that live episode should be fired. The whole set was a disaster. People at home could not even see the final tattoos on that one mini tv. All of this seasons contestants were just standing on stage for the whole show. How about some chairs? If anyone DVR’d the show, the ending was cut off.The judging needs to be addressed for next season. How in the world did Sebastian make the Finale over Tatu Baby and Jesse. If the Judges actually think he was better, that is a problem.

I can’t believe someone is praising Kay Kutta, I almost STOPPED watching the show because of all the air time they gave his big mouth! I do agree that Tatu Baby was robbed, Sebastian just didn’t have the goods to make the final three. I guess two women in the final was a bit too scary for some tough guys to handle, although they did appreciate the slimmed down Sarah. Anyway…Steve had it in the bag from the get go, he was just better than the rest. End of story.

These live finales are TERRIBLE. Dave and the other judges were so clumsy without multiple takes. Dave had to keep cutting off the other contestants while they whined about losing. (And did anyone else think that Chris Nunez looked like Hitler with his weird ‘stache and side-parted hair?!) The only human canvas that I really wanted to hear from was the first one who got ‘Corinthians’ misspelled…where was that person?
I really would have liked to see more of the final tattoos, rather than the camera moving around close details that couldn’t give an overall perspective. All in all, this finale was a big let-down to a fun season.

Pressure & Adversity causes some people to break and others to break records. Tatu Baby, Sarah, and Steve. All withstood by maintaing composure and met deadlines when they were asked to do so. And their tatoos were bad ass!

After watching this show, why would anyone volunteer to be a human canvas?! You’ve seen an entire season of mismatching artists w/ canvasses (NOT clients – Clint kept it real, “you’re getting a FREE tattoo”) in a rushed situation.
BTW, how are they going to reenact the scene in tattoo nightmares? (uh, I volunteered to be inked by a ‘roided up self-promoting MMA fighter moonlighting as a tattoo artist on a reality TV show that promised unique artwork from one of the top 16 in the country…left after season 1 search)

Why steve should win he’s very talented. They shouldn’t have even bothered doing a 24hour tattoo. Sebastian was already out based on votes so why bother.
Why I think sarah is crazy for someone only tattooing for a few years. I’d go to her anytime! A lot of the tattoo artist have had many years of experience why Sarah and Tattoo baby didn’t. After all those years they have hit there max why Sarah and tattoo baby have tons of potential to be better.

The Top 3 should have been Jamie, Jesse and Steve. Those are (BY FAR) the three best artists in the competition. Of those three, I would have guessed that Steve would have won (Jamie in second and Jesse in third). Tatu Baby should have been in the top four. She was fun to watch as she developed as an artist. It will be good to see her again in Season 3. Hopefully she can keep it up!

Tatu baby will have a enormous advantage going into next season. If she can get her theory for Japanese down and execute it she should take it down. By far the best user of black next to Steve.
Steve deserved the win in the end but Tartu baby would of been ALLOT tougher to beat then Sebastian. He was not better then Jessie, Jamie or Tartu baby whatsoever.

Of the 3 that were left, I am, glad Steve won. Did not like Sabastian and Sarah’s crying got on my nerves. Tatu Baby and Jessie were my favorite. I am so glad that Tatu baby is coming back for Season 3.

I believe the artists should not only be judged by their work but also their personality and ability to work well with their canvas’s. I do not think Sarah should have made it to the final 3 and hope she can learn to control her psychotic episodes! She does great portraits but overall she is too pushy on getting what she wants and not the customer! Tatu Baby was definitely my favorite but also glad Steve won at the end.

Totally agree w all of the repeating comments: format was not good, the end got cut off if you DVR’d it, the 24 hr tatts weren’t even really shown, esp Sarah’s, tatt baby should have beat out Sebastian for the final 3.

Good show, love the series, hated the finale but will watch again next season.

I agree with most that Steve deserved the win judging by the consistency throughout the season; also agree it was extremely annoying that the programming ran over and I didn’t get to see the end. It made this great show appear amateurish in the end-I hope the producers will note how many people complained about these same aspects, and skip the ‘ live’ plan. I don’t need it live, I don’t need so much DRAMA, and the really poor way we were shown those last great tattoos was so frustrating! That said, this season was great tv and I’ll be back watching next season for sure!

Valerie uo there has no idea what shes talking about. Tatu Baby is one of the best on the show. She should have been in the top 3 and let her talents really shine in the 24 hour tattoo. As far as her “cheap hooker” remark, everyone has their style that makes them comfortable. Just because she’s comfortable with her sex appeal and probably looks 10 times better than you… dont be mad. She’s more attractive than a lot of women.

Who the f*** directed the final episode? It was one of the worst live shows I have ever seen. Not only was the camera positioning slow and awkward, but it barely showed the finalists tattoos on that little screen! Wtf?! Either way, I knew Steve was going to win, and even though Sarah was a annoying throughout the season, she does do great work especially for only being in the business for 6 years. Tatu Baby is the most over rated contestant by far. What a stupid ass name for starters, she dresses like a hooker and only did a few good tats. Jessie should have been the one to return for next season.

The finale sucked big time. They didn’t even show us the finale tattoos. They started criticing the tattoos and we had to look at the tattoo on a small screen. I didn’t ever even get to see Sarah’s second tatto.

The whole season I kept saying Jessie needs to show he can be great at everything, stop picking old school style, yes he was great at what he did, but ink master must be versatile. When you show you can do one style and one style only, you cannot be in the finale. I did watch the whole season, however was disappointed as last season was so much better. The artists completed better work and were far more versatile then any of recent competitors.

Deb; me too.. I recorded the show and f****ng at&t cut it right before they revealed the winner.. which, leads me here.. I’d definitely like to see tatu baby over sebastian in the finale any day.. And too bad Jessie f*ck*d up the portrait.. Giving him freedom for 24 hours would have looked insane no matter what you might think of new school or his abilities to do other styles.. Oh well, It’s over for this time..
And thank god someone volunteered to fix up that terrible excuse for a pin up, haha..

first of all Ink master is a really good show..except for the fanale…sebastian had the right to have his tatt criticted….steve deserved that money he did the best through out the season..tatu baby and the dude with no tatts shouldnt of been eliminated when they did…other than that good season

Huh?? The show neither started nor ended on time. Ergo, the DVR stopped recording well before the end of the show so that the final minutes were not seen. I know that this is SPIKE tv and anything goes and it’s my fault for not watching it live and yadda yadda yadda. Some final thoughts. Tatu Baby looks like a whore. Sarah whines and complains but has a smokin’ body. Steve has fewer personality disorders than the rest. Sebastian sucks at tattooing and dislikes white people–especiall white judges. My choice to come back would have been the guy who was railroaded for having no tattoos–I forget his name. I was sorry to see Clint go, though I disliked his attitude immensely. The midget and the blonde shoud never have been on the show in the first place. If those are America’s 16 best tattoo artists then we’re in more trouble than I thought. Thank you.

That poor woman that got the Tattoo from Sebastion I hope the people at Tattoo Nightmares offer to cover that up for her. He should never have made it to the finale as an artist and he should be slapped for creating that terrible image on a females back. I have a full back piece and its a horror piece and it still has elements of beauty… What’s next for Sebastion mustache and beard for Betty Paige?

I’m glad Steve won it. However i would have been much happier if the finale was Steve, Jessie, and Jamie. I think that would have been an AWESOME finale. I didn’t like Sebastian’s art, it wasn’t very good to be considered Ink Master. And Sarah’s was good, but Jamie’s and Jessie’s were better all around. Plus Sarah is Psycho.

i don’t like the flow of the show…parts of it seem contrived, but then maybe that’s the reality of reality tv…does anyone really believe that the contestants sit around the living room mf-ing each other and belittling each other’s skills and personalities, and then all of a sudden become BFFs at the end of the contest?…as i say, i just don’t like all of the personal infighting…same as on ‘survivor’…i also think that any tattoo that you have to explain is not deserving of a win…if the judges can’t see what it is or what you were trying to express, then shame on you…that said, i think sarah is HOT…i’m glad she got to stay till the end…i think it was a tossup between her and steve….

man these judges are so fuggin weak. to knock a guy down for not puttin tats on his own body…. i’d love to see that long bearded long haired hillbilly oliver get his hair chopped off cuz i don’t think he could hang with jamie or the new school guy.
different styles for different folks.
just my taste in art but new school guy had the best designs. not every tattoo has to look like an h.r..giger print.

It is a very valid point a about Sebastian getting eliminated based on the poorest votes. However, I think it is obvious that they decided the format after they saw the audience results and the tattoo. If Steve had the poorest amount of votes they would have never made that the elimination factor. I also thought it was obvious that baby got eliminated because they already had a girl and they needed a black person to round things out. I mean let’s be honest here because Sebastian had no business being on that stage.

I really enjoyed the show. I hated the fact that the popular vote eliminated Sab. His last tat was a good tat technically but I don’t know why this lady let him put it on her back. Great tat though. Sarah’s tat was really good as well even though we didn’t really get to to see it all. Steve’s tat was outstanding. He deserved to win. Would have loved to see Jessie in the fanally. Loved his tats all season. Tatu baby is fine as sh!t. I would love to take her for a spin. Wouldn’t mind a tat from her either. The last episode sucked. Looked like the show was filmed in a warehouse with no lighting. They could have had bigger screens to show the tats. Would have liked to see the artist actually tatoo the canvases. Great show though

Of the top 3 none of these guys will get their own show. Spike wont b able to spinoff this season. No personalities in the top 3. Sarah was untalented and crazy while steve is a poorly dressed douche. Sebastian should never have been there. I agree the finale had bad camerawork and the conversations were weak and lacked good flow.

TOTALLY AGREE!! The whole season was great except for the finale. Bad camera work, slow pace, horrible way of showing (or barely showing) the finalists tattoos. I still don’t know what Sara’s male Norseman looked like. It was like the director didn’t show up and it was all adlibbed!!

Sarah was kept in as long as she was because it made for good tv… Same with kay… Both of them should of never even made the show… If it aint color and/or a portrait then sarah sucked… And kay was only good at competitions, once it came to tattoos he was outta there!! Last ones standing shouldve been steve, clint, baby, and jessie… But i think they let baby go on purpose… Just so she good be voted back on next season…75% voters chose her… Good job to all artists excluding sarah and kay… Congrats steve

The finale show was terrible. Bad camera work. Bad sound. No really good views of the tats that were done. I enjoyed watching the whole season… until tonight. Very disappointed.
I thought Steve’s tatoo was fantastic. I thought Sarah’s were really good. I would have been horrified to be that poor lady who ended up with that huge, hideous back piece that Sebastian did. Technically well done, but ugly as sin.
I agree that the voting should have been used some other way than to eliminate the third finalist. Sebastian was never going to win, but every competitor had a right to be judges based on their work, not a stupid popularity contest online. Oy!

Kay Cutta was obnoxious and not very talented. If he had been brought back I would not watch next season. I think the final four should have been Jesse, Sara, Steve and Tatu Baby. Would have liked to see Jesse’s 24 hour tattoo. Hope to see something amazing from Tatu Baby next season.

I believe that Jamie should come back next season as he was the all around guy and very respectful in everything that he did. I’m sure it’s hard to tattoo yourself and that is why maybe he doesn’t have one! I think he got hosed just like Tommy did the season before. You see who has the show though, right? I haven’t seen the winner of last season with a show yet! Go figure…….

I watch the whole season and in my opinion I feel tatbaby should not have been set home, because when you think about it, the contest i based on who can become a master artist, well she proved that because she started out shaky, but proved to become the best. She stepped her game and won more challenges than most of the artists did. So i felt tat she proved just what you all were looking for become the best, so she should had been in the top three. Now yur girl Sarah, she is good but with the attitude that she has, I would not want anyone those types of outburts to put a needle on my skin, she needs anger management, it’s like having a surgeon getting ready to perform surgery with a bad attitude. How you feel about my comment? P.S. I want to be one of the human canvas on the next season.

I completely agree w comment about seeing what would have happened if Jesse were in the finale, he truly is the only one who could have given Steve a run for the prize, alto I give major props to Sarah’s tattoo..I love she gave the Valterien a black eye, made sense…personal preference I guess. However, I’m so glad Steve won , he completely deserved it…and no more whiny Sarah is a bonus.

As for Tatu Baby (stupidest name ever) she wasn’t very good for most of the season and doesn’t deserve another chance. Jesse should have been brought back. Hopefully “Baby” will hire a stylist before next season and stop dressing like a cheap hooker

I was so disappointed in the way Season 2’s Finale was held. With the artists being sent back to their home towns, we were unable to watch the creation of the actual tattooing like we have in the past. Then even the screen they showed the tattoos on didn’t show the whole tat for very long at all due to all of the other reverie this time instead of it being like last season. I’m happy that out of the three there that Steve won, however they didn’t even really show Sarah’s male tattoo due to them focusing so much on the female side. I just LOVE this show, which is why I was so disappointed in certain areas!
Also thought that Tatu Baby SHOULD HAVE been in the finals, so am THRILLED that at least she’s being brought back next season! Please however…DO NOT GIVE AMERICA SO MUCH POWER IN THEIR VOTE FOR THE FINAL!! It’s DEFINITELY NOT FAIR. ;-(

Not a big fan of Sebastian at all, and thought he should not have been in the top 3. However, I felt he was cheated in the finale by being eliminated based on poor votes. That means he did his 24-hour tattoo for nothing. His past is the past. If America’s vote counted that much then he should not have made it to the finale in the first place. What if his tattoo would have been the best of the finalist, he would have lost due to a flawed judging system. Steve should have won, but not happy with how this all went down. Tattoo Baby got robbed by the way!
