‘Gossip Girl’ series finale spoilers: Dan vs. Georgina one final time

How generous are the folks behind “Gossip Girl” being when it comes to their series finale? Well, it’s rather unusual when they give us more than two sneak peeks to have a gander at prior to a new episode airing, but they obviously want us to be as excited as humanly possible for what is going to be coming up Monday night.

We’ve already shared a clip that focuses primarily on Penn Badgley’s character of Dan meeting up with Serena (Blake Lively), and trying to convince her that he is not the man that she saw in the Vanity Fair chapter that was more or less one lengthy diatribe against her. Now, the clip we have features Dan arguing with another woman who has been in his life as of late (though in a very different way): Georgina. So what is going on here? Basically, she wants to ensure that she has some level of control over the content that he is turning in to Vanity Fair, and when she sees him possibly on a delivery route she tries to stop him before she reads it.

However, there is one problem here: Dan tells her that he is not heading off to Vanity Fair to turn something in. Does it look like he is helping in some way with Chuck and Blair’s wedding here? Definitely, but we also have to assume here that there is some other motivation at play given that he has also spent some time in the Upper East Side begging Serena to stay. Hopefully, we will find out something more when it comes to a concrete answer here as to his intentions soon.
