The upcoming iHeartRadio Music Festival is being hyped as “the biggest live music event in radio history,” and they now have another impressive name to add to the list.
According to a new announcement, rapper Jay-Z (who most recently released his “Watch the Throne” collaboration with Kanye West) has signed on to take part in Las Vegas festival, which is set to happen on September 23 and 24. He joins a lineup that includes a number of other prominent industry heavyweights — from Lady Gaga to Bruno Mars to Steven Tyler to Carrie Underwood to Coldplay.
By participating in this concert (which will be broadcast live on iHeartRadio.com) Jay-Z certainly has a reason to celebrate — though he is going to have his work cut out for him trying to top the $250,000 he reportedly dropped in champagne while in Miami.
Is this concert something you are especially looking forward to at the moment?
