Lady Gaga teams up with Barneys for the Holidays

Lady Gaga is coming to Barneys New York

It may only be August, but Lady Gaga is already thinking about the Holiday season and has decided to team up with Barneys New York to create a campaign called “Gaga’s Workshop.”

With the help of Eli Sudbrack, Christophe Hamaide and Nicola Formichetti, Barney’s will create a Lady Gaga version of Santa’s workshop in their window display for the holidays.

Mark Lee, CEO of Barney’s New York released a statement about the partnership with Lady Gaga, saying;

“Lady Gaga is a rare cultural phenomenon, not only because of her exceptional talents as a singer, songwriter and performer, but also with regard to her support of equality and individuality and status as a fashion icon. Partnering with her in this unprecedented collaborative way to create the largest and most all-encompassing holiday theme that Barneys has ever mounted is a thrill. As a New York City landmark, we wanted to celebrate Lady Gaga as a fellow New Yorker and amazing talent.”

What’s really cool about this Barneys-Gaga collaboration is that Formichetti will be working with Barney’s to create gifts that will be sold at the store and 25% of the sales will go to a charity of Lady Gaga’s choosing.

You will be able to see the ‘Gaga’s Workshop’ Madison Avenue window display starting in mid-November.
