‘Gossip Girl’ season 6, episode 8 preview: How to save Chuck Bass

ChuckHow much more Chuck Bass drama can we take on “Gossip Girl” season 6? Well, both the good and bad news is that there are only three episodes left of the CW series, and no matter what happens when it comes to Ed Westwick’s character, we are going to find out soon.

Based on the producers’ preview for the episode featuring Sara Goodman and Jake Coburn (which you can see below), there is one thing we can say with a reasonable amount of certainty: Chuck is going to be one depressed man at the start of Monday night’s new episode “It’s Really Complicated.” He is going to be feeling as though he has no hope of taking down Bart, and with that in mind he is also concerned that he is completely incapable of actually being with Blair and providing her with everything that she actually needs from him.

In going away from Chuck for a minute, this episode is going to have some valuable stories for all of the other characters. For example, Dan is going to be trying to figure out whether or not he wants to bash Serena relentlessly in his latest chapter of his tell-all, as he will be feeling the pressure from Georgina to do this very thing under the argument that Serena is trying to just charm him with something that will never actually come to pass.

As for all of the characters’ stories this episode, Coburn and Goodman claim that this episode will eventually lead into what is one of the most “epic” Thanksgiving dinners in the history of “Gossip Girl,” which is really saying something when you remember just some of the madness we have seen from the show over the years.

Do you want the Bart drama to end Monday, or do you think somehow has more life to it? Be sure to share what you think below, and you can also view the first official series finale details from The CW here.
