‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: When will Lea Michele, Cory Monteith reunite?

While it is possible (very possible) that we are going to have some sort of Finn / Rachel moment on Thursday night’s “Glee” season 4 episode, it is also pretty safe to assume that these two characters are going to by and large keep their distance at the moment. After all, they each did just break up, and their mission now may simply be trying to find themselves away from each other. For at least the past year or so, their identities have more or less existed just as an extension of each other, and now that they are single, they each are more or less forced into a situation where they have to think about themselves a little bit.

So when will some of the next substantial scenes be coming up for these two? Well, let’s just say that you may be waiting until Christmas … or at least until the Christmas episode that is airing the second Thursday in December. In a post on Twitter, Lea Michele confirmed that she will be back in the choir room for the first time all season during the episode, as she filmed a scene featuring Cory Monteith, Harry Shum Jr., Mark Salling, Jenna Ushkowitz, Heather Morris, and many more. A good many of the McKinley High graduates seem to be in attendance for this scene, though it is unclear about Amber Riley, Naya Rivera, or Dianna Agron given that Lea did not mention them in her message. Agron will turn up for the first time all season in the Thanksgiving episode, which is ironically airing the week after Thanksgiving. (Given the holiday, we actually have the feeling that next week’s “Dynamic Duets” is going to be that does not push forward the show too much.)
