2012 CMA Awards: Little Big Town, Thompson Square among winners (full list)

With “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal,” and “Last Resort” all sidelined on the night, ABC aired one of the biggest celebrations of country music of the year in the 2012 CMA Awards. There are a million country music awards that aired throughout the year (though this may be a slight exaggeration), but this is still one of the ones out there that really is the cream of the crop.

This page is going to be updated as the show continued, so be sure to keep checking back here for more. There are sure to be some surprises, but more than anything else it is pretty much guaranteed that we will see some of country’s biggest stars in attendance. What we were surprised about was that we spent a good thirty minutes before we really knew two of the biggest winners from the show. Then again, this may be in part thanks to the inexplicable decision to make this show far lengthier than it really needed to be. Thanks, CMA Awards!
