‘Hart of Dixie’ season 2 spoilers: It’s election day! (video)

Thanks in part to a real-life election happening on Tuesday night, we are going to see a slight delay before “Hart of Dixie” season 2 picks up again with new episodes again on Tuesday, November 13. When it does, though, you may as well expect right now for there to be a healthy mix of politics, drama, and maybe even some romance between the two candidates.

As you know already, Ruby and Lavon are not exactly going into this election with bitter hatred for each other, as they each have a rather complicated past together from when they were teenagers. Even though this at times has turned bitter during the election, the two even say in the first-look preview below that there is a chance they could “kiss and make up” … possibly even literally.

The idea of Ruby and Lavon getting back together is probably not something that will make Lemon Breeland even remotely happy, especially since she and him shared a few moments together during the episode airing this week, as she convinced him to not sell out his integrity just to win over some voters who happened to be Auburn fans rather than the University of Alabama. As for what else could be going on here, we expect the love triangle between Zoe, Wade, and George to be even more complicated now that George may have found a new woman to be with courtesy of the scene at the bar at the end of last episode, and we already wonder if this is the sort of thing that could make a one Dr. Hart extraordinarily jealous.
