‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Naya Rivera on Santana, Brittany, and Sam

Would Santnaa be particularly upset if her now (sobs) ex-girlfriend Brittany started to date someone she has developed some chemistry as of late with on “Glee” in Sam? Based on what Naya Rivera is saying now, Chord Overstreet’s character would pretty much need to fear for his life if this were to happen.

As a part of her new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Rivera gives a pretty interesting comment about what Santana’s likely reaction would be that somehow produces a perfect (but also horrendously violent) mental picture that will probably keep Sam away forever if only he knew:

“If she was there, I don’t think she would be too happy about [Brittany and Sam getting close], I would hope to God that everyone hid as she would start swinging.”

While there has been some evidence that there could be something brewing there at least on Sam’s side, there’s no reason to freak out over it just yet. After all, we do not even know for sure if Brittany would be interested, let alone if the two parties would actually get together. Brittana fans should take some solace in the fact that there is some more story coming up for them in the coming episodes; and even though it is unclear as to if these two will be getting back together in the near future, they are certainly not done sharing scenes.

What do you think about the idea of a Brittany / Sam relationship: is it exciting, blasphemy, or somewhere in between? Or, do you think that Santana would lose her mind on a whole new level if something happened here?
