‘The X Factor’ USA: Demi Lovato supports Willie Jones, CeCe Frey in new team video

Remember how we posted recently that “The X Factor” was getting political with a recent video showing Simon Cowell talking about himself as the greatest judge of all time? Well, the show has now unveiled a new one that is of a similar style, but this time around is showing support strictly for the youngest judge in the competition in Demi Lovato, who is choosing to look at her age as her strength.

As a matter of fact, the video below skewers Simon, L.A. Reid, and even to a lesser extent Britney Spears for being older than the “Skyscraper” singer, and how this may make them be grumpy, forgetful, or simply out of touch with what is going on now. Interestingly enough, Demi actually has a team that is a little bit of a perfect mixture of nostalgic singers along with people who are capable of being pop stars in the present. Paige Thomas and CeCe Frey are clearly the two most current singers of the group, whereas Jennel Garcia is bringing female-driver rock back. Meanwhile, Willie Jones is a true original in that he is combining a bit of R&B with country music, while at the same time doing his best to bring back fashion to the early nineties courtesy of his high top haircut.

Could someone on Demi’s team win? Definitely. While we feel at the moment that teen star Carly Rose Sonenclair is probably the favorite, things can change on this show in a second. After all, prior to last year’s live shows we probably would have told you that Rachel Crow or Drew Ryniewicz would have ended up winning the title and the massive $5 million that comes with it.
