‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: Arizona takes the next step (video)

We can’t imagine that there is a doctor out there with a more complicated job than someone responsible for working with prosthetics. On one side of the coin, you are getting the opportunity to help people who may have lost a limb courtesy of some sort of tragedy; however, the dark side of this is that these are people who clearly went through some sort of terrible tragedy, and they are probably going to be a little bit messed up as a result of it.

So on Thursday night’s new episode of “Grey’s Anatomy,” this doctor (named David) is going to have to deal with someone in Jessica Capshaw’s Arizona who really does not seem too enthused at all about getting a replacement for a limb that, in her mind, she was not supposed to lose. The saddest part about this is that David seems to not only be a nice guy, but a pretty good doctor who really cares about what he does. The problem here is just that Arizona does not seem to be particularly inclined to let him work with her.

At some point, we do have to think that Arizona will get over this, but this is hardly not something that you can expect her to recover from overnight. We anticipate this being a multi-episode process as she starts to over time slowly realize that maybe having this prosthetic is not the end of the world, and that she could be more of an inspiration than she ever thought that she would otherwise.
