‘American Idol’ notes: Adam Lambert, Scotty McCreery, Elise Testone
Even though we already posted some “American Idol” news concerning the potential arrival of Jessica Sanchez on “Glee” for her much-anticipated guest-starring role, there’s still so much other news happening at the moment that it still merits another edition of show notes.
Let’s not really waste any time, here, since we have some major announcements to kick things off here. First and foremost, Adam Lambert’s “Trespassing” EP is now available! In case you are wondering where you can pick up the collection (which contains several remixes of this alongside some other tracks from his album of the same name), all you have to do is visit the season 8 star’s official site or pick it up on iTunes.Hopefully, this collection will serve Adam to pick up some more attention for his new single, which to this point has really been under-appreciated by radio stations. (Oh, this reminds us: be sure to call in and request the song!)
Now, let’s move on to some other subjects…
Scotty McCreery joins CMA Country Christmas – Being that he just released his “Christmas with Scotty McCreery” album, it would be rather silly is the season 10 champion were not a part of this special. The concert this year will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on November 3, which to us still seems to be a little early for the holiday season. (Granted, it’s done this way so ABC has time to edit it for their telecast.) Scotty is the only former contestant singing at the show this year, but we do have some other interesting connections here in between current judge Keith Urban, and strangely, former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant and classical singer Katherine Jenkins. “Dancing with the Stars” and “American Idol” film on the same studio, so it’s likely Katherine met at least a few contestants this pas season.
New music! – Finally, we’ll close with a link to some new music from one of those former season 11 stars in Elise Testone. She recently sat down with a local Rhode Island station to perform a song, which she is currently titling either “I Will Not Break” or “Under Attack.” It’s rather lovely, and you can hear it at Mjsbigblog

Adam and Haley are outstanding artists.
Their performances show their talent.
More should be done to promote them.

I love that song by Elise! I can’t wait to hear the finished product and hold it in my grubby hands! I love Elise Testone!

Matt: I agree with you not only has the TSP album been under-appreciated in the US but the singles have been basically ignored by radio. They are so slow to add his singles for no good reason. But very quick to add songs by unknown artists and well known artists despite the quality of their songs. Ex: TS Seems radio caters to tweens and teens now. Politics & $ is the problem
