‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: Jesse Williams on story for Jackson

Now that we have finally made it through the plane crash tragedy on “Grey’s Anatomy,” we can now move on to some things that are a little bit more pleasant and less tear-jerking; specifically, we are talking here about what is going to be coming up for Jesse Williams’ character of Dr. Jackson Avery. It’s going to combine some drama with some fun, and we may even see him starting to fall even more in love with a certain someone in Sarah Drew’s April.

Speaking in a new interview with Celebuzz, Williams also teased how he is going to start figuring out how to handle what is going on between his mother and Chief Webber:

“He’s got to deal with the issue of Richard Webber [James Pickens, Jr.] sleeping with his mom, and a new love interest in his life that’s also his close friend, if that’s going to work, there’s a lot of push and pull there.”

Will Jackson and Avery get together for good at the end of the day? What’s interesting about this show is that if we are talking about anything else, we would say so with a resounding “yes.” However, Shonda Rhimes has shown an uncanny ability time and time again to separate herself from what many other showrunners would do. After all, Mark and Lexie would probably have gotten together long ago before we saw one of them die in many other people’s hands. So what are we ultimately trying to say here? Basically, that anything can happen.

Do you think Jackson and April will officially be an item at the end of this year? What do you want to see happen for Jackson on the show this season? Be sure to share some more of your thoughts by leaving a comment in the box below!
