‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 3 spoilers: ‘General Hospital’ actress in as…

It looks like “Hawaii Five-0” is about to start diving into the world of daytime dramas, at least when it comes to the latest actress who has been booked to join the show for an upcoming season 3 episode.

In a new post on Twitter, “General Hospital” actress Vanessa Marcil confirmed that she was not only shooting some work for the CBS drama, but that she was also getting an opportunity to work alongside one of her own personal favorite acting heroes in Christine Lahti. Marcil is set to play the part of a therapist on the show who quickly finds herself in trouble. Why? McGarrett suspects that she may be involved in a murder case, and thus, he also starts to feel that she may be messing with his mind a little bit in order to get what she wants out of it.

At the moment, there are not too many other details know about Marcil’s gig, with the exception that we know that the actress’ installment is slated to air during the November sweeps. Like much of the CBS lineup, “Hawaii Five-0” has gotten off to a slow start in the ratings, with one of the primary reasons being the sudden popularity of NBC’s “Revolution” as an alternative for male viewers at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. In order to lure some people back to watching it live, they may need some big-name guest stars; and overall, it’s possible that Marcil may help to do the trick. She is joining the likes of Terrence Howard and Kendall Jenner as some of the big-name guest stars coming on board the show later this season, even she’s not as likely to pull in young viewers as Kim Kardashian’s little sister.
