There have been some episodes of “Bones” that we have been really looking forward to ever since before the season even started, and the one coming up on Monday night has been on the top of the list. Why? Let’s just say that it tackles a subject matter in the world of animal trafficking that we really do not see very often on mystery shows … especially those with an audience that spands people with all sorts of viewpoints on various issues.
Basically, Booth and Brennan get drawn into this case thanks to a homicide, but of course there is so much more at play here than just that. The way in which this person died suggested that there was some sort of wild animal attack involved, and it leads to our leading man and woman getting involved in a world of endangered species, where lions, tigers, and yes, even bears are kept as household pets. From a personal standpoint, we know that this is an episode that Emily Deschanel is in particular excited about, at least courtesy of her history supporting animal rights and environmental causes. There will also be some facts in here that will quite frankly astound people.
Really, this could end up being the “Bones” episode that really has a little bit of everything. We already know that there is going to be entertainment via the story, and we also know that there will be a message; if some humor is thrown in there for good measure, then really there is nothing more at all that we can ask for.
