‘Bones’ season 8 spoilers: ‘Army Wives’ and a twisted activistSeptember 16, 2012 0 comments
The season 8 premiere of “Bones” is airing on Monday, and before we get to that, wouldn’t it be nice to have a little bit more casting scoop coming your way? If so, here it is.
According to a new report from TVLine, “Army Wives” star Brian McNamara is set to guest star in an upcoming episode that we have been talking about for some time, one that revolves almost exclusively around the trade of endangered species. On the surface, his character will appear like some sort of Steve Irwin-esque animal activist named Eric Neibling who is trying to help these creatures live prosperous and happy lives; however, this is going to serve in many ways for the perfect cover for what he is really up to.
So what else is going to be surprising and / or disturbing here? That Neilbling’s true nature is not going to be revealed until one of his day laborers is found dead and Booth and Brennan begin their investigation. This is going to be a key hour when it comes not just to the story, but also the message. Series star Emily Deschanel is a major proponent of animal rights, so with that in mind we have to believe that this episode is going to be particularly close to her heart.
What do you think about this casting, and is this an episode that you are also looking forward to? We want to hear some more of your thoughts with a comment below!
