If you are excited about Jeremy Carver returning to “Supernatural” this season after several away, you are not the only one — after all, it looks as though Carver feels the same exact way.
While he is hesitant to give too many details away about upcoming episodes of the show, there is one that he is particularly excited to air — and he told Entertainment Weekly the following about it in a new interview:
“I think as far as specific episodes, I think we have an episode that is all the things I love in terms of being fun and deeply, deeply emotional. It’s one Ben Edlund wrote.”
Edlund has written some of the show’s most memorable episodes during his six-year stint on the show, including such recent installments as “The Man Who Would Be King” back in season 6 and “Hello, Cruel World” in season 7. Carver himself has written some great episodes for the show, as well, including “A Very Supernatural Christmas.”
The eighth season of “Supernatural” will premiere on The CW October 3, and there is going to be some pretty exciting stuff happening right out of the gate — including the story about Dean in purgatory. Sam will get a new love interest over the course of the season, and we are also going to see at least eight appearances from Misha Collins’ Castiel over the 23 upcoming episodes. The show is poised to do rather well in its new timeslot, which is away from the TV graveyard known as Friday nights.
