In this video, we see him seemingly pass out in what is a pretty scary situation at camp, one that starts to make Jessica concerned right away. Even though the two have had some serious trust issues as of late, she does still value him as an ally, a number, and possibly even a meat shield. We do think there’s a showmance factor still there, even if it seemed to cool off slightly tonight.
As for whether or not we actually think Cole will be evacuated, we doubt it. Typically, Survivor wouldn’t give something that big away in advance! Granted, we are still coming off a situation where in the most-recent CBS promo we saw Mike getting an immunity idol. Therefore, anything is theoretically possible. (We don’t want to ever see anyone leave the game this way.)
Will there be some other drama in this episode? Absolutely. Just remember the way that the episode ended tonight, with Ryan opting to go against his former tribe member Ali in getting rid of Roark over Chrissy. One of the strangest and ironic things about this was that at Tribal Council Ali made a big deal about how she and Ryan were battle-tested because they went through the metaphorical fires of a past Tribal Council together. Unfortunately, it’s quickly proving to not be the case. She’s angry for not being clued in, and he will have to do some serious damage control here. Honestly, we’re not sure that Ryan can get her back since Ali seems to be the sort of person who is smart enough to realize when she can trust someone and when she can’t. Ryan does have other allies that he’s closer to — she may not know about the immunity idol and Chrissy from the first week, but she is well-aware that he has a great social game and could be playing a lot of people to suit his own ends.
