Big Brother 19 finale: Elena Davies on voting for Josh (CBS backyard interview)
For now, though, let’s just focus on Elena and what she had to say to Dr. Will Kirby tonight in the CBS backyard interviews. She made it clear first and foremost that she made the decision for the sake of the game, and at the same time admitted that it was rather difficult. After all, she and Paul were close in the game, so there may have been that temptation for her to go with him as the possible champion instead. You can agree or disagree with the move, but at least she owned it in the interview.
Beyond that, we also had a chance to see what Elena had to say about her future with Mark. At the start of the season, we saw that she was resistant to the idea of the showmance. However, over the course of the season he started to win her over, and in the jury house the pressure was off and as a result of that, she found a way to get to know him better. She figured out a way to learn more about him as a person in the house, and to go along with it, she also managed to understand more of her own feelings. We actually do like the idea of this showmance, at least since there is some sort of emotional understanding between the two of them. Also, we don’t think that America is going to harass either one of them all that much over it, mostly because of the fact that there is Matt and Raven still out there.
Ultimately, Elena is open to doing more shows seemingly (which makes sense since she came onto Big Brother to help her career in entertainment); had she made it a little bit further (and played a bit harder), maybe she’d be a lock to return. As of right now, it’s doubtful.

I loved the ending!!! Codys revenge!!! I laughed my butt off. Paul played the most disgusting game in BB history, manipulating bullying tactics and coordinating personal attacks against his foes. Using his little pawns to harass and intimidate anyone who he was threatened by…. justice in the end is so sweet.

Shame on you!! Worst desicion EVER in the history of Big Brother. I’ve watched every Season and usually the players voted for the BEST player in the end. This time, it was a bunch of whining CRY BABIES…especially Alex, Cody, Jason and Mark!! I hope to NEVER see these pathetic losers on another game show ever! I will boycott it! These players voted because they couldn’t admit who the best player was. Hell, even Christmas had the balls to vote the BEST PLAYER in!
I’m disgusted!!! So sad for Paul, the true winner!!
Alex, shame on you!! Yeah, go cross yourself again and try to sleep with yourself, denying the best player a win! You’re a nasty little piece of work you ignorant little crybaby B*tch! My heart goes out to Paul! Maybe CBS will give Paul his own show since he couldn’t get a decent jury!!

So he always loses competing with other people, that’s why he needs his own show to win?? LOL loser’s logic.

Boooooo! Jury were a bunch of cry babies that don’t respect the game. Paul played flawlessly while Josh was an idiot. So disappointed.

Elena I am so disappointed in you, and the poor sportsmanship you displayed in not voting for the person who should have won big Brother this season, you have shown children that you should carry a grudge instead of remembering that you are playing a game and the best player should win the game. I just hope they don’t chose poor sportsmanship player to play in the upcoming game, and they let players play that show our children that they can’t show what real sportsmanship is
