The Good Place season 2: Check out new video before premiere

Good Place season 2

Great news The Good Place fans, not only does Season 2 premiere tonight, but NBC has released a new first look at the new season.

The first look takes fans behind the scenes of the making of Season 2 while showing clips of the funny moments fans have to look forward to. Kristen Bell kicks off the first look by bluntly telling fans that it is “a weirdly completely different story”. When season 1 ended, the characters were told that they were in The Good Place because of the lives they lived, but Eleanor (Bell) discovers they are actually in The Bad Place the entire time. However, Michael (Ted Dansen) has the power to reboot everyone’s lives and back to step one. This introduces the concept that Season 2 is The Good Place 2.0. Eleanor has to now figure out how to repair the life that she had the first season before so much of the memory of hers and others around her was erased.

In this world, Bell explains that we will be seeing more of Michael and thus seeing the man behind the curtain. This is a fantastic concept heading into the new season. It’s a direction that has been done before but one that we haven’t seen in awhile. We believe that the series, which has been called “TV Heaven”, can pull this off in a way that pleases fans and critics.

Even stars such as Manny Jacinto who plays Jianyu and Jameela Jamil who portrays Tahani tell fans that their minds were blown when they realized how the writers were carrying on the series. This season and the world that has been created is going to bring some crazy and exciting storylines for the characters.

The clips we see throughout the entire first look will make you laugh and make you thank God that the show returns tonight. They show the characters in tight situations, like dealing with the fact that one of them should be in The Bad Place or the fact that a sinkhole has formed. In general, it’s also great to see how the stars of the series react to the changes and how much they believe in what the writers have produced. This is a show that may constantly change, but sometimes change is exciting.

We cannot wait to see how Season 2 will begin is new season and to see how fans react to the new and improved The Good Place.
