John Cena strongly hints at Nikki Bella – Dancing with the Stars casting
Is Nikki going to be a great addition to the competition this season? While obviously nothing is confirmed until a given contestant hits the floor, we do think that there’s a lot of potential for Nikki to be the sort of person who performs very well and makes it far. For one, she’s familiar with choreography from the wrestling world, and understands that you need to have an element of stage presence in order to be believable at what it is you’re doing. Granted, there are some clear differences in that on Dancing with the Stars you do need to come out on stage and do a wide range of performances; some of them may be fiery and intense like many WWE matches are, but then others are supposed to be soft, delicate, and intimate. The goal is to bring out a number of different sides of yourself, and show versatility in a number of interesting and exciting ways.
There is a history already of pro wrestlers doing fairly well on the show, as Stacy Keibler made it all the way to third place on the second season of the show. Chris Jericho also did reasonably well when he was a part of the series, but we think that female wrestlers are actually better fits since the men tend to have bulkier frames and don’t transition as easily to being in the ballroom.
We’ll see how Nikki does, provided she is a part of the show, once the premiere airs on ABC next month. some of the other rumored names for now include the likes of Property Brothers star and married couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey. Nick is the brother of former contestant/winner Drew Lachey all the way back in the second season.
