Bachelor in Paradise 4: When Evan Bass – Carly Waddell wedding will air

Evan Bass

Mrs. Carter: You know that Evan Bass and Carly Waddell got married on Bachelor in Paradise this summer — now, learn when it’ll air!

ABC isn’t going to waste too much time before showing their biggest wedding of the year within the Bachelor franchise, and it makes some sense when you think about both timing and optics. The wedding special was filmed at a time after the production for the show was temporarily halted, but it still went off without a hitch. What’s a little unusual about it, though, is that it is still somewhat disconnected from the rest of the series. You’re going to get the premiere episode on Monday, which includes the decision to temporarily halt filming, and then on the second episode airing Tuesday, you’ll see the wedding take place before the cast members make their way back to start filming the remainder of the season. That will be at the conclusion of the investigation, where Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson are no longer a part of the cast.

In the synopsis below, you can get a good sense of what ABC expects for you to see with the wedding:

“Carly and Evan exchange marriage vows in Paradise before an assemblage of their family and friends, including many of our Bachelor favorites. Then, it’s time for the tears to flow, including from the bride and the groom… and Ashley I. too!”

With this news, this marks the third straight summer where both Carly and Ashley I. appeared in some variation of Bachelor in Paradise, as they were contestants on the two previous seasons before this appearance now.

What we do hope at this point is that Carly and Evan serve as a good example to some other fame-hungry contestants that there is more to this show than just Instagram sponsorships — it can actually produce legitimate relationships if you’re open to it! One of the reasons why we feel like the Evan/Carly relationship works so well is because the two focused on the fun on their season of the show — they embraced some of their ridiculous dates and didn’t take anything too seriously. They embraced the process for what it was, had a good time, and gave themselves a chance to build something despite some initial resistance on Carly’s part.

Now, the two are married, and are even expecting a child! The Instagram shot via Carly below is from a People Magazine story about the pregnancy. They are expecting their child together to be born early next year.
