America’s Got Talent results: Did Preacher Lawson, Billy & Emily advance?

Tonight, the America’s Got Talent results had the potential to actually surprise! There were some good singers, but tonight, we actually saw more variety than the past two shows. We had a great comedian in Preacher Lawson, some crazy variety performers in Bello Nock and Billy & Emily, and then Diavolo, who was out there combining everything from dance to acrobatics and then some.

Can you be upset about Celine Tam, another singer, getting the Golden Buzzer? If you want to, absolutely; yet, we don’t think that she is the real problem here. That’s more on the judges for wanting to give the big moments of most of the episodes to the singers for whatever reason that is impossible to get into here.

The point of this article is to simply share some of the acts who are going to be moving on. You can read our full take on the performances tonight over at the link here. The Acts Advancing

Oscar Hernandez – He’s a wonderful personality and seems like a good person, but seriously? We didn’t see this one coming, even if he started the show and that is often good news.

Brobots and Mandroidz – This was a worthy choice! We don’t always love dance crews, but they were one of the best ones that we’ve had a chance to see all season. It had a nice mix of style and substance.

Diavolo – The best part of this was seeing how it took them a minute to understand that they were going to be moving forward. Also, the way the choreographer freaked out on Tyra Banks after the fact.

Billy & Emily – Loved them. While we’ve seen variations of their performance before, they UPPED THEIR GAME tonight. We are shocked, however, to see Bello Nock not moving forward after firing himself out of a cannon.

Mike Yung – This was a no-brainer. He’s got the vocal talent, and also the story to back it up. We don’t know if he’ll win, but he’s someone people out there will want to root for.

Preacher Lawson – Another lock judging from the reactions to his performance. The guy’s worked so hard in order to get to this point, and the moment that he actually had at the end of this was surprisingly emotional before meeting his mother.
