Dark Matter season 3 episode 8 spoilers: Danger from within

Dark Matter season 3 episode 8

As we look towards Dark Matter season 3 episode 8, we’re going to receive further reminders that within this universe, there’s nowhere to hide. While the Raza crew has felt some comfort with each other, the idea of that being permanent is a false flag as much as anything. Just be reminded of what happened with Four for a moment. Betrayal happens, and the rest of the crew just has to be prepared for it.

The good news moving into next week’s “Hot Chocolate” is that we do think that some of that awareness is definitely there. The bad news? Well, let’s just say that it isn’t going to matter all that much. There is only too much that the crew can do when someone chooses to strike at them from the inside.

Dark Matter season 3 episode 8 synopsis – “While providing safe transport for some allies, The Raza comes under attack from within.”

One of the things that you definitely do need to remember now is that we’re in the home stretch of this season now, and all of the major storylines we’re watching are going to accelerate. This is a show gearing up for a crazy conclusion — if it’s anything like the finales for the past few seasons, all signs point to us having our jaw on the ground.

About the new promo

At the end of tonight’s episode, what we had a chance to see was a little bit of different chaos aboard the ship as The Android exhibited some strange behaviors. This episode could be a follow-up to that, but there are some other important crises at hand. For one, we’ve got a chance to see Five at the center of another powerful story — who is coming for her, and what do they want? Also, who has caused a power outage on the ship? Whoever’s done so, they are doing so intentionally … and there are certainly a wide array of suspects out there. Take, for example, anyone at Ferrous Corp, or anyone within Ryo’s team given that he is clearly unhappy with everything that he’s seen transpired.

Of course, you can go beyond just Ryo when looking at suspects — there are plenty of people out there who want something terrible happen to the Raza crew, and it’s really only a matter of time before they strike. For now, we’re still too busy breathing a sigh of relief that Six is okay to worry all that much about who is behind the latest attack. There should still be plenty of suspicion cast on The Android / whoever could be inhabiting her just based on what we’ve seen to date.
