‘The Big Bang Theory’ at Comic-Con: How will Jim Parsons appear?

It’s no surprise at all that “The Big Bang Theory” is going to be making its presence felt in a big way at Comic-Con — it’s routinely one of the convention’s most-popular shows in terms of panel discussions, and the references to just about everything at the convention abound. As a matter of fact, the show is so popular that this year the panel will be held in the enormous Hall H on Saturday, July 13 at 12:05 p.m. Pacific time. To make things even more exciting, one of the stars in “Mythbusters” in Adam Savage is set to moderate the Q&A session.

So who is going to be at the event? Well, let’s just say that everyone will be present in some form or another. According to TV Guide, the majority of the series regulars in Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch, and Mayim Bialik are all going to be there along with executive producers Chuck Lorre, Steve Molaro, and Bill Prady.

So where is Jim Parsons? Let’s just say that the actor is going to be making a move that is very similar to what his character Sheldon Cooper would do. Thanks to his commitments starring in “Harvey” on Broadway, the Emmy-winner will beam into the panel via Skype to talk about the show, answer questions, and tease what is coming up for the character in season 6. The show will not start filming until after Parsons’ run is over, but this should not interfere with any sort of normal production schedule.
