Better Call Saul season 4 renewal hopes: Will AMC make it official soon?

Better Call Saul season 3

Want to know the Better Call Saul season 4 premiere date? So do we, but for now, we’ll settle for an official renewal for the Bob Odenkirk series.

Why in the world hasn’t the show been renewed as of yet? It’s a question that understandably, plenty of people out there at the moment may wonder. The ratings are down for season 3, but the ratings for this show are in so many ways subjective. One of the things to remember here is that the majority of Better Call Saul viewers are watching either via DVR or Netflix. This is such an important part of the show’s legacy thanks to its status as a Breaking Bad prequel, and as a result of that, the network almost wants to ensure that they are able to see it through. Maybe there are only a season or two left of the show, but we’ll get more — it’s possible that there could be more than that, but it would start to be a little weird if Better Call Saul ends up running longer than Breaking Bad given that it was the show that started all of this.

In the event the show gets renewed, the easy assumption is that the new season is going to be airing at the time you get around to the spring or summer of 2018. This is a time of the year that works really well for the show, though we would prefer that it aired a little earlier in the year personally … thought that may be in part due to our own personal desire to get more of the show sooner rather than later.

For now, just be sure to enjoy the finale! Also, know that Talking Saul is also going to be airing tonight after the finale in the event you want to see what some of the show’s stars have to say about some of the craziness that unfolded tonight.
