Odd NCIS merchandise on sale for fans: Would you buy an Abigail Sciuto ID?

NCIS Abby

NCIS fans are loyal. Not only will they turn on the TV to follow the stories, but everyone has their favorite characters to rally behind. It could be Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs or Abigail Sciuto who you watch for every week as the team solves a mystery. Sometimes the fans get so excited about NCIS that they dress up as their favorite character, right down to the ID badge.

Would you buy an Abigail Sciuto NCIS novelty ID badge for a costume?

Believe it or not, you can buy a Abigail Sciuto NCIS novelty ID badge for your own personal use. It’s a novelty item that’s available on eBay or Amazon. It looks to be handmade and these badges sell quite swiftly. Used for cosplay or for a costume, the badge includes a lanyard and the laminated card for personal use.

The idea of buying a novelty ID badge might be a bit odd. Obviously, you won’t be using it to get into a lab and it’s not official government ID, but it’s still a fun element of the show. Showcasing appreciation of the series, fans wear the badges revealing their support to friends and family.

NCIS character ID won’t get you into a bar

Had a good laugh when a friend of mine pointed out she’d never get an NCIS badge. Didn’t matter the character. Why? It’ll never get her into a bar. I agree you need to buy the badge for the right reasons. Apparently the rationale for buying a badge vary, so if you’re looking to lie about your age, this isn’t the item for you. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to imagine being a part on the TV show.

Would you rather own a NCIS novelty ID or shirt?

Novelty IDs obviously caters to a person who appreciates a certain character on TV. Which begs to ask the question, is this the best item for supporting a TV show? Showing off your TV spirit might be better suited by a T-shirt or jacket (which can be purchased on the network’s website) instead of a bootleg ID.

NCIS characters aren’t the only TV IDs for sale

An Agent Gibbs novelty badge isn’t the only ID available online. There are other TV show characters that are available too. The cast of Criminal Minds, NCIS: Los Angeles and even the primary character on Dexter all have novelty IDs for sale.
