Real Housewives of Atlanta: Did Phaedra Parks film one final scene?
A new rumor has surfaced via AllAboutTheTea proclaiming that Phaedra will be returning to the show, but only for a single scene in order to have a proper on-camera apology to Porsha Williams. If you recall, this past season of the show ended with a situation that was beyond uncomfortable, as it was revealed that Phaedra was the original source behind the whole drug-gate controversy that defined much of the season. This caused Kandi Burruss to unload on her, and it was pretty clear from that moment onward that she was probably not going to be a part of the show full-time anymore.
This scene, if it indeed happens, may just be designed as a means to offer up some closure when it comes to what transpired with Phaedra and Porsha. In turn, maybe it allows the show to move forward. Given that this was not the fun type of drama that the serie,s and the larger franchise, likes to focus on, this may be an attempt to bury it in the past and move forward to other things. This show has a brand of messy that it likes to focus on, and this was beyond the pale for it and ultimately rather depressing. It managed to even top some other recent depressing storylines like the debates over Brooks Ayers and Yolanda Hadid’s health, which mixed two different seasons down to the last drop.
New episodes of Real Housewives of Atlanta are going to premiere a little bit later this summer, and hopefully at around that time we’ll have a better opportunity in order to properly learn precisely what is going on when it comes to the story for the season. The same goes for the cast. Probably in the late summer / early fall there’ll be some more news to report when it comes to a trailer. Fingers crossed that none of this stuff is ultimately included in it.
