Power season 4: Teases from Lela Loren, Naturi Naughton at premiere
The first one from Loren (see the bottom of this post) is pretty darn simple, given that she describes the story for Angela this season in two words: “Armored car.” What in the world does THAT mean? Consider this one of those things most likely where you watch the show down the road, the light bulb goes off, and you roll your eyes, wondering how in the world you didn’t figure that out sooner.
What we know about Angela right now is that without her actions, James St. Patrick never gets arrested and the entire foundation for this season is different. She sets everything in motion, and from here it will simply be rather interesting in order to determine where the story goes.
Meanwhile, the second video below features Naturi Naughton (Tasha) taking you on a little bit of a tour for her own story this coming season, describing her character as “fierce and independent.” This also says that this is the season that Tasha truly becomes a “grown woman,” which sounds exciting given that it likely going to be a chance to see her stand up for herself more than ever and think in terms of her own self-interest.
These two women are probably going to be the architects who likely build much of the season 4 storyline. Without Tasha, Ghost has virtually no ally during his time behind bars. Meanwhile, Angela may be the one who dooms him to spend a long time in prison. She is very good at her job, and that spells bad news for Omari Hardwick’s character. The only advantage he may have is someone trying to use his past relationship with her as a way to cloud up the courtroom — then again, doing that could also unearth a lot of other skeletons that Ghost may not want out there.
The actual Power premiere on Starz takes place on Sunday, June 25. Be on the lookout for further scoop as it is provided!
