Real Housewives of Potomac preview: Gizelle vs. Monique; a party!
Let’s start things off, though, by talking about the fact that there is a huge party going down in celebration for a young child who probably will have zero memory whatsoever about this happening. What in the world is going on here? Anytime that a child under two gets some huge blowout bash with a hefty price tag, it feels more like a spectacle showing that the people throwing said party can afford it. (There is still the benefit of being able to show pictures of said party to the kid a little bit down the road, which we understand can be appealing to many people out there.)
Ultimately, the synopsis below gives you a little more of a sense as to what’s coming beyond that, and some of the drama that will be taking place between Gizelle and Monique.
Synopsis – “Gizelle faces some harsh payback when she is shut out of Monique’s lake house summer bash. As Karen closes the deal on the sale of her Potomac home the reality of having to move sends her looking for a distraction. Ashley reveals a decision about her and Michael’s future after their big Oz blow out. Robyn finds herself in therapy after everyone questions her relationship with Juan. Karen’s scheme to “getaway” with a girls’ trip to Bermuda goes awry after she decides to kick her planning partner, Charrisse to the curb.”
The video below offers up a little more footage of the party, but then also Robyn Dixon thinking about if she wants love with someone other than Juan. This episode should prove to be emotional at times, but also hopeful at others since you will see several different people within the cast trying to be proactive in determining their own future. That’s always going to be preferable to people sitting idly by and watching their future get decided more for them.
