Stephen Colbert, Gordon Ramsay’s Late Show interview tremendous (as expected)
Gordon Ramsay was a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert promoting his upcoming live series The F Word, and let’s just say that this proved to be just as ridiculous (and entertaining) as you could have possibly hoped for.
In the video below, you can see Gordon do his part to explain to Stephen what the show is, but then also take on a wide array of other assorted topics, as well. This includes learning a thing or two more about what happens anytime he walks into a restaurant, whether or not he was so demanding as a child, and learning that there are certain words that you can say on British television after a certain time of the day.
Basically, this interview is Gordon Ramsay in the perfect late-night format, and it almost makes you wish that he was on some podcasts so he could get in all of the swearing without the assorted bleeps.
The end of the video is what may very well be the icing atop the cake, given that here Stephen asks Gordon (who also has a new season of MasterChef premiering on Fox this Wednesday) if he would mind yelling at him while he constructs a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. What you see over the course of the next minute or so is completely ridiculous, and you also learn that apparently, there is a way to absolutely screw up a PB&J. Also, Gordon throws part of the sandwich, and anyone who knows this site knows that one of the most entertaining things in the world to us is when Gordon either throws or smashes various food items.
Given that this is a fairly quiet weekend in terms of TV content, cheers to both Gordon and Stephen for giving us a good laugh, and for setting the metaphorical table for what is probably going to be some entertaining TV coming up over the next several months on Fox. Somehow, Gordon keeps finding a way to be a part of some big TV series there that end up working!
