NCIS: Los Angeles season 9: Should Deeks – Kensi wedding come in 200th episode?
As a matter of fact, this may be a question that the writers are starting to think about right now in the aftermath of the brilliant role-reversal proposal at the end of season 8. It was a moment years in the waiting, and now the next order of business is working in order to figure out precisely what comes next for the two of them. The natural progression of things is obviously a wedding, and there is a clear indication that this is something that many fans of the show are eager to see.
Now that this is laid out there, let’s dive back to what could easily be the ideal time to put such an episode on the air: For the milestone 200th hour. The more you think about it, the more it makes sense. The majority of television networks out there will do anything to schedule a big event for a milestone, and what better way to celebrate the show than by marrying off two of its most popular characters?
Another reason why this wedding could work is simply a matter of timing. The 200th episode of NCIS: Los Angeles could air in either November, December, or January depending on how CBS schedules it. This isn’t so late that it will overlap with some huge, crazy episode with a ton of explosions or other mythology. It’s also not so early that you’re not forcing them to run off to the altar as fast as possible. This is just something that, at the moment, feels like the perfect amount of time. It’s a shorter engagement, but remember that it took Eric Christian Olsen and Daniela Ruah’s characters A FULL SEASON to actually get to the point where they could take this step. It’s okay to rush a little bit now.
Ultimately, this is something that we should be able to figure out further when the show gets into filming this summer. Stay tuned for further updates along the way!

I agree it wold be boring to have the wedding as the focal point of an episode. Hell, real weddings are boring enough if you just there as a guest. Though I would like to see this event happen, it can happen off camera just fine.
An episode can be focused around the wedding day, and have a big case threaten to get in the way. The characters spend the day trying to solve the case and rushing off t the wedding. The final scene can be Kensi finally walking down the isle to a waiting Deeks. The screen goes dark and the credits start rolling just as whoever is officiating the wedding starts to speak.
